The Epic Games Store has started another weekly giveaway, offering PC gamers two games for free. Luftrausers and Astral Ascent have replaced last week’s Breathedge and Rival Stars Horse Racing.
Both games can be claimed for free until September 17. Once claimed, they are permanently added to your Epic Games Store library, so you can download and play them later without needing an active subscription.
Luftrausers is a 2D arcade-style action game from Vlambeer, released in 2014. Players control an experimental aircraft while fighting waves of enemy planes, battleships, and submarines. The game features more than 100 missions and allows players to customize the aircraft’s weapons, body and propulsion.
Astral Ascent is a 2D action roguelite from Hibernian Workshop. It features four playable characters and has players fighting their way through four worlds against 12 powerful Zodiac bosses.
Epic has also confirmed the next giveaway. Starting September 17, Mindcop and Shogun Showdown will replace the current freebies.
