Facebook will be rolling out this over the next several weeks. Once it is available to you, you will see a lightning bolt on the top right corner of some links shared in Messenger. It indicates that link is an Instant article.

Facebook introduced Instant Articles last year in May 2015. The concept is to host the web content on its own platform and serve it faster. Facebook claims that Instant Articles load 10 times faster than link shared on it. So, users get better reading experience and publishers get more readers.

Many publishers have already started using Facebook’s Instant article while many are still not using it just because of monetization confusion.
