WhatsApp beta gets video calling option

WhatsApp video call

WhatsApp has now started rolling out video calling option on WhatsApp beta apk for Android. In the beta version (20.16.80) of WhatsApp, users will now see the option for video calls. Since the option is not available for public, you will not be able to perform video calls. I also tried calling to a phone with this option available, but couldn’t get success. It means this option is just added in UI without adding the video call function.

UI of the app remains same, but tapping on call icon now gives you options to choose between voice and video call.

If you also want this option, you need to download and install the beta version of WhatsApp. You can download this WhatsApp beta here.

Recently, WhatsApp also added dedicated desktop apps for Windows and Mac users. It is same as WhatsApp for the web. Users need to scan QR code and then smartphone must be connected to The Internet. WhatsApp for the web now also supports file sharing.
