There will also be a timer at the top of the trial window which also contains install button. Users can install the app if they like the app in the 60-seconds trial. Trial run ads will be best for games where users can play games for around a 1 minute before deciding whether to install or not. This is a win-win for both developers and users.

Along with these ads, Google has also introduced ‘customized mobile ads‘. These ads lets app developers to use HTML5 and be more creative with interactive interstitials ads. These ads will have swipeable screens and will pull dynamic content.

Interactive Interstitials provide:

Google also confirmed that customization can be big or small depending on advertisers choice. These kind of ads are best for e-commnerce advertisers. They can showcase their products and offers to attract more customers and increase conversions.

These ads are only for mobile devices where it actually makes sense. Be ready to see these ads and get benefit of trial run of app before installing it in your device.

These two new ad formats are now available in beta to selected advertisers. Once Google is done with testing, it will rollout these new ads for all advertisers.
