When I first saw the box, It was huge for a headphone. But after unboxing it, it impressed with with packing, design and other in-box accessories. It has memory foam ear-cups, detachable microphone, microphone plug, 100cm 3.5mm jack cable, 200cm extension cable, 10cm headset splitter cable, airplane headphone adapter and a carrying pouch. But there was no manual. This headset aims gamers who are already geek enough to know how to use. So, it seems company saved paper.
Company offers extra ear cups but being true, it is a real pain to replace the ear cups.
It is a closed back stereo headset with good build quality. Arms and ear cups of the headset are made of Aluminium. It has leatherette cover with foam beneath it. Ear-cups can easily cover your ears.
It has frequency response of 15-25000kHz and has Sound Pressure Level of 98 +/- 3dB. I tried this with my desktop, Windows laptop, Macbook air, iPad and Android phone. It performs good without any kind of distortion in the audio.
It comes with a separate microphone which is 6 inch long. Mic offers good sound recording but the audio quality is not up to the mark. As it is the gaming mic, it will only be used to communicate the fellow gamers. For this purpose, it performs good. But you can not use it to record good quality audio.
Special thing about this gaming headset is that it is the official headset for various pro-gaming organizations. This is the reason it will surely excite most of the gamers out there.
