Today, Nokia launched its first Nokia branded Android tablet Nokia N1. This tablet runs on Android Lollipop with Nokia Z launcher. This Nokia Z launcher app is now also available in Google Play. This launcher was released as limited beta back in June this year.
Nokia Z launcher will be shipped with Nokia N1 tablet. And users who want to use this custom UI, they can download Nokia Z launcher from Google Play. It supports Android 4.1 or higher. It is worth to mention that the app is not available for Indian users.
Nokia z offers various cool things. It makes it easier to manage your apps and contacts. It takes a different approach on home screen by displaying most likely to launch app depending on the time of the day. You can easily find an app by scribbling app names anywhere on the screen. For example scribbling I on the screen will open Instagram and other app which starts with letter ‘I’.
Nokia has also updated its public beta release with performance improvements, scribble recognition and prediction algorithm. This launcher is available for free.
