Finally Android users can also enjoy interactive cases on their smartphone. A French startup CodLight has presented cPulse Android cases. Startup is also looking for funding on KickStarter.
cPluse is Android smartphone cases which comes with LED Panel which can be used to display notification and to create unique interactive lighting ambiances. These cases are compatible on Android smartphones running on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
Installation of this case is simple. You only need to connect it with the micro-USB port of your smartphone. The download the cPulse app from Google Play Store. Now, enjoy the high intensity and colorful experience on your palm. cPulse only weighs 85 gm and is 5.5mm thick.
The app can be used to program all of the different kind of lighting features. “Lighting Tracks” can be created to show lighting beats of your favourite songs. You can also create your own lightning tracks from scratch.
It will consume the battery of your smartphone, so it may be a reason to worry. Company explained that one hour of use will consume only 7% of the battery.
At KickStarter, company is offering different levels of participation. Those who contribute at least $79 will receive a kit allowing them to 3D print their own cPulse case. People who donate $89 or more, they will receive one of the first cPulses case. As of now, company has only raised $3,512 while target is $350,000.
