Skype Brings Group Calling Free for Windows, OS X and Xbox One

Skype Brings Group Calling Free for Windows, OS X and Xbox One

Skype has made group video calling free on Windows, OS X and Xbox One. Company has also promised that it will also bring it to other platforms for free “in future.”

“For the last few years, we’ve offered group video calling to Premium users on Windows desktop and Mac and more recently Xbox One. Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re making group video calling free – for all users on these platforms. And, in the future, we’ll be enabling group video calling for all our users across more platforms – at no cost,” Skype announced.

On Desktop, Skype can support up to 10 systems and on Xbox One, it supports up to four devices.

Google Hangouts is already available for years and provides free video calling. With this new announcement, Skype aims to bring its video calling feature to common people. Earlier Group chat was only available to premium users. But Skype is very popular one to one Skype video calling.
