AOL Reader Arrives As Alternate to Google Reader

When Google announced the death of Google Reader, many companies announced to bring their RSS reader as an alternate to Google Reader. Few days back, we also have rumors that AOL was also working on the same. On Monday, AOL has announced that rumors was true and launched its own RSS reader called AOL Reader.

AOL Reader has simple minimalist design with all the features you can expect from a RSS reader. It aims to make reading content around the web easier and engaging. It also has easy steps to transfer all your Google Reader feeds to AOL Reader.

AOL Reader offers four different views for browsing feed content. You can select any of the view which suits you. Simplest it a simple view that expands the post within the list when you click. Other is a card view like Flipboard or Google. Full View is a magazine style view that displays article heading and content. Fourth is a two pane view that lists articles at left add pulls text of article at right.

You can also organize items into folders. There is also the ability to star/favorite things, or mark them unread.

You can login in AOL reader with your AOL account. If you do not have one, you can login with your Facebook, Google or Twitter account.
