Russian Search Giant, Yandex has announced its own Android app store. This app store will host many Android apps for Android tablets and smartphones. Currently this app store is coming soon. Users can subscribe to their email address to get notification of launch. This android stores boasts to host 40,000 apps.

Yandex will take 30 percent of the revenue generated from apps. For this app store, Yandex has also partnered with Opera Software, which delivers Opera Mobile Store-licensed content from the get-go. Yandex store also supports in-app purchasing with mobile billing and credit cards. Yandex store is expected to launch at the end of this month.

Company said in a statement: “The company can now offer an alternative package of mobile solutions to any OEM around the world who would like to build their own Android-based smartphone or tablet. Yandex’s mobile ecosystem now has all key components to provide OEMs with an opportunity to customize their devices.”

Along with this App store, Yandex has also announced a custom internet browser which is based on Google’s Chromium project. Yandex has also combined opera’s Turbo technology to compress web pages and make websurfig fast. Yandex has also integrates Kaspersky malware detection in this browser
