Here is the good news for the Sony Xperia  S users.  Sony has finally decided to give the upgraded version of Andriod that is Ice Cream Sandwich to Xperia S smartphones. All Sony Xperia User’s can update their device through web, PC Companion or Bridge for Mac.

It is a 200 MB Update which will be available to user’s with different new media applications. This update comes various new Sony specific apps namely WALKMAN, Album and Movies. These  apps will help Sony Xperia user’s  to manage their music, movies,videos and photos on their device.  It also contains some tough ICS Features.

The company is providing the new Walkman application which comes with deep Facebook Integration and allows users to discover music taste of their friends and share their music updates as well.

Album Application allows users to search photos and videos along with an option to share with friends on Facebook.

After this upgrade, you will see better performance of Web browser with tabbed browsing. Browser will also allow offline access to pages. Syncing between your smartphone and desktop is also possible when using Google Chrome browser.

Finally, the Movies application “streamlines the playback and viewing of movies in high quality audio and video, whilst using intelligent database search to grab movie posters and information for a richer experience.”

The Data Monitoring features have been vastly improved in Android 4.0 , so you can easily monitor your data usage.
