Facebook Home app launcher app has passed more than 500,000 download mark in Google Play Store. This Facebook Android Launcher app released on April 12 in app store and then launched globally on April 16.

Mark Zuckerberg Reveals 'Facebook Home' for Android

Download numbers are good enough but app is still getting bad reviews from users and has an average rating of 2.2. More than 50 percent users still think that app is worth only one star.

Download numbers do not show actual installation picture. There may be a possibility that users who put bad reviews had uninstalled the app. Average review for an app launched by Facebook  is really big disappointment.

Facebook has also rolled out HTC One compatibility with Facebook Home. Until now, until it was compatible only with  HTC One X, One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III, and Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphones.

I have also seen that many websites are comparing these number with the download numbers of Facebook app and Instagram. I do not think it is feasible. Facebook Home is only available for few smartphones. This limits the users. While other apps are available for all Android users.
