YouTube for Android Now Lets You Minimize Video While Browsing

Today, Google has rolled out a major update to YouTube app for Android. This update brings multi-tasking ability to the app and Google’s card interface.

Now you can browser and search videos while watching without stopping the currently playing video. Until now, users had to stop video if he wanted to search videos. After the update, users can minimize video while browsing and searching videos on YouTube. Video will move to the bottom-right corner of the screen and continue playing. If you want to continue the video, you can get it back to full-screen. To dismiss the video, swipe left or right.

YouTube has also added few more feature to the YouTube. Now, searching and browsing is easier. It is not clear when company will push these features to iOS apps. But Google has confirmed that iOS app is in works.

This new update is being rolled out and will reach to all Android users gradually. If you do not want to wait for official update, Android Police has the download link of APK.
