Google Nexus 7 16 GB now available in India for Rs. 15,999 via Google Play Store India. It was officially launched for Rs. 19,990 in India. Earlier we have seen that Tata retail store Croma listed the device.

Google Nexus 7 is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. It features 7 ich HD display with 1280×800 pixels resolution with Scratch-resistant Corning glass. It comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It comes with Android 4.1 Jelly bean onboard. Connectivity features include WiFi, MicroUSB, Bluetooth and NFC.

It comes with 1.2 megapixel front camera for video calling. This camera can also record HD 720p videos.

It is packed with 4325 mAH battery that claims Up to 8 hours of active use.

This device will have to compete with Samsung Galaxy Tab2 311 that comes for Rs. 12,599. At the price of Nexus 7, you can get Samsung Galaxy Tab2 310 that also comes with 3G connectivity.

So it is up to you. Decide according to your need.
