Poco has officially confirmed the launch date for the upcoming Poco X8 Pro series. The company announced that the new phones will be unveiled on March 17.
The launch event will take place at 8 PM Beijing time. This translates to 5:30 PM in India, 2 PM in Eastern Europe, 1 PM in Central Europe, 12 PM in London, and 8 AM in New York.
While Poco has not directly confirmed the names of the devices yet, the teaser includes the tagline “Speed to the max.” This strongly suggests that the lineup will include a Max model. Based on earlier reports, the series is expected to include the Poco X8 Pro and the Poco X8 Pro Max.
Leaks suggest that the Poco X8 Pro could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5. However, it may come with a slightly smaller 6,500mAh battery.
The Poco X8 Pro Max is also expected to be based on another Redmi device, possibly the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. According to reports, this model could feature a much larger 8,500mAh battery.
Poco has not confirmed these specifications yet. More details about the devices, including their full specifications and features, will be revealed at the official launch event next week.
