HMD Global launches Nokia 2720 V Flip dual screen flip phone in the US

Back in September 2019, HMD Global introduced Nokia 2720 Flip phone. Now after a long gap of 2 years, the company has launched the phone as Nokia 2720 V Flip in the US through Verizon. There is no change in the specs. So, it is the same 4G phone running KaiOS.

Nokia 2720 V Flip features a 2.8-inch QVGA display along with a 1.3-inch external display. It packs Dual-Core Qualcomm 205 Soc with Adreno 304 GPU and 512MB of RAM. There’s 4GB of internal storage with an option to expand storage up to 32GB.

The phone runs on KaiOS and you can download world’s most popular apps including YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp. It also has Google assistant built-in to check weather and other data.

It has a 2 megapixels rear camera with LED flash. The phone also includes LED Flashlight. Connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS/AGPS + GLONASS, and Micro USB. It also has Google Assistant.

The phone packs a 1500mAh removable battery that is sufficient for a phone of these secs. It promises up to 28 days of standby time from a single charge.

Nokia 2720 V Flip is priced at US$ 79.99 and will be available through Verizon’s online store and in-store starting from May 20th.
