Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S25 FE, the newest Fan Edition in its S25 lineup. It comes with several notable upgrades over its predecessor and promises 7 years of Android updates.
As expected, it comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The display also reaches up to 1900 nits of brightness, good enough to make it suitable for outdoor use.
The phone is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset globally. Samsung says it now has a 10% larger vapor chamber compared to the previous FE, which should improve cooling and help the phone maintain performance during longer gaming or heavy usage sessions. It has 8GB RAM and comes in three storage models: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The Galaxy S25 FE runs on Android 16 with One UI 8, and Samsung has promised 7 years of Android updates and 7 years of security patches, keeping it in line with the rest of the S25 series. The phone also comes loaded with Samsung’s new AI features such as Gemini Live, Now Bar, Circle to Search, Generative Edit, and Audio Eraser.
The camera setup is similar to its predecessor. You get a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the front, there is a new 12MP selfie camera borrowed from other S25 series models.
Samsung has also upgraded the build quality. The phone features a glass back with an enhanced Armor Aluminum frame, and it carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and support for modern connectivity options like 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
The phone packs a 4,900mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
The Galaxy S25 FE comes in Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White. Pricing starts at USD 649.99 (around Rs. 57,290) for the 128GB variant and USD 709.99 (around Rs. 62,575) for the 256GB model. In Europe, there is also a 512GB version priced at 929 Euros (around Rs. 95,320).
The phone will be available starting September 4 in select markets. Buyers will also get six months of Google AI Pro plan with access to advanced features in Gemini, Flow, and NotebookLM.
