Apple has launched the iPhone 17 series globally, including in India, during its ‘Awe Dropping’ event on Tuesday. As expected, the arrival of the new lineup has led to price cuts for last year’s models, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
The iPhone 16 is now available in India at a lower starting price of Rs. 69,900 for the 128GB model. Apple has discontinued the 256GB variant, while the 512GB option is no longer available for both iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
The iPhone 16 Plus now starts at Rs. 79,900 for the 128GB model, and the 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 89,900. Both phones are available in Black, Pink, Teal, Ultramarine, and White colours, and can be purchased via the Apple online store.
Here is a quick look at the old and new prices in India:
Model | Storage | Launch Price (Sept 2024) | Current Price (Sept 2025) |
