Apple has just announced AppleCare One, a new monthly subscription plan that offers protection for multiple Apple devices under one plan. This new offering brings much-needed simplicity and flexibility to Apple’s existing device protection system. It allows users to bundle their coverage for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch into a single plan.
What Is AppleCare One?
AppleCare One combines all the benefits of AppleCare+ into one subscription. You get:
- Unlimited repairs for accidental damage like drops and liquid spills
- Battery replacement coverage
- 24/7 priority access to Apple Support
- Theft and loss protection for iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches
- Support for multiple devices under one monthly fee
So, instead of managing multiple AppleCare+ plans for each of your devices, you can now subscribe to a single, streamlined plan with AppleCare One.
The biggest highlight of AppleCare One is that it covers up to three devices for just $19.99 per month. If you want to cover more than three devices, you can add each additional device for $5.99/month. This means if you own an iPhone, an iPad, and an Apple Watch, you can now cover all three under one plan. It will save you up to $11 per month compared to buying separate AppleCare+ plans for each.
Unlike the standard AppleCare+, which you must buy within 60 days of device purchase, AppleCare One lets you add older devices as long as it is in good working condition and not older than four years. This is great news for those who already own multiple Apple products and want to bring them all under one protection umbrella.
AppleCare One is flexible and can adapt as your Apple ecosystem evolves. You can add or remove devices anytime. If you trade in a covered device for a new one, Apple will automatically replace the old one with the new model in your plan.
The subscription is rolling monthly, so you can continue or cancel based on your needs.
AppleCare One launches in the United States on July 24. You can enroll directly through any Apple device or by visiting an Apple Store.
