Samsung has officially launched the Odyssey OLED G6, the world’s first OLED gaming monitor with a 500Hz refresh rate. This new monitor sets a new benchmark in the gaming display category.
Samsung is already a well-known name in the gaming monitor space, especially when it comes to OLED displays. With the launch of the new Odyssey OLED G6, the company is set to strengthen its position even further. According to Samsung, the new monitor is designed to deliver top-tier gaming performance, stunning visuals, and a more immersive experience overall.

The Odyssey OLED G6 (model G60SF) comes with a 27-inch display and packs top-notch specs. It has a 500Hz refresh rate, incredibly fast 0.03ms response time (GTG), and QHD resolution (2560 x 1440). It is powered by Samsung’s QD-OLED technology and promises to offer a balance of sharp visuals and deep colors.
The monitor is also certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, so you get deep blacks and vivid color contrast. It supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which means smoother gameplay without screen tearing.

Samsung has also focused on comfort and reliability. The Odyssey OLED G6 can reach up to 1,000 nits of brightness and features Glare Free technology, which helps reduce reflections so you can stay focused on the game. To protect the OLED panel during long sessions, it comes with OLED Safeguard+, which helps prevent burn-in over time.
The display is Pantone Validated. It can display over 2,100 Pantone colors and more than 110 SkinTone shades accurately. So, it is also good for content creators.
The monitor will first be available in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with more regions to follow later this year.
