CD Project Red announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will come to Mac in 2025. The company will release the Ultimate Edition which includes the base game and the recently released Phantom Liberty expansion.

It is important to note that the game will only support Mac devices powered by Apple silicon chips. This means that older Intel-based Macs will unfortunately be left out. The company also says that the Mac version of Cyberpunk 2077 will take full advantage of the power of Apple silicon and Metal graphics API. So gamers can expect stunning visuals, smooth performance, and immersive gameplay. The game will also support advanced features like path tracing, frame generation, and built-in Spatial Audio.

“Taking full advantage of Apple silicon and advanced technologies of Metal, the world of the dark future is available to Mac gamers for the very first time,” says the company.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG set in the dystopian future of Night City. The game has had a long list of awards since its initial release in 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on Steam, GOG.com, Epic Games Store, and Mac App Store. People who already have the game on PC will be able to carry it over to the Mac.

It is already available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It was also on Google Stadia before Google decided to axe the game streaming platform. After the game becomes available on Mac, the only platform missing will be the Nintendo Switch. But I don’t think the game will make its way to Nintendo Switch.
