At WWDC 2024, Apple also introduced the call recording feature for the iPhone. This is big news because there was no easy way to record calls on the iPhone. Even the third-party apps don’t provide easy call recording.

The AI-enhanced call recordings feature will be built into the default Phone app. It will also use one device processing to provide transcription of recorded calls. When a user starts call recording, it will notify the other party on the line about it.

It took Apple years to add a call recording feature while Android users have been enjoying it for a long time. At the moment, we don’t know how it will work because the company hasn’t demonstrated it.

The call recording feature will be available in English, in the U.S., UK, Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and Singapore, and in Spanish in the U.S., Mexico, and Spain. Later, it will also be released in France, Germany, Japan, China, and Brazil in their native languages.

During WWDC, Apple introduced many big changes to iPhone, iPad, Watch, and more Apple devices. The most notable feature is Apple Intelligence which brings the power of AI into Apple devices. Apple has also introduced a Calculator app for iPad and macOS Sequoia.
