Apple has finally developed a Calculator app for iPad. The app will be available with iPadOS 18 later this year. At WWDC 2024, Apple provided some screenshots of the app and also demonstrated the features. The app looks a lot like the Calculator app on iPhone. It has the same layout.

The most notable feature of the app is the support for the Apple Pencil stylus. So, users can draw a math problem and the app will automatically solve it. This feature is called Math Notes. It will be really helpful to students.

The first iPad was released back in 2010 and iPad users have been asking for a calculator app for the past 14 years. Users had to either use an online calculator on a web browser or third-party apps. Although third-party apps work well, free apps show ads. Purchasing a premium app for ads free calculations doesn’t make sense but users had to do it.
