DuckDuckGo browser feels like Chrome or Edge, but it will automatically block creepy ads, cookie pop-ups, or hidden trackers. It comes with DuckDuckGo as the default search engine, but you can change it if you want.

The most notable feature of the DuckDuckGo browser is the Duck Player. It is the YouTube player that lets you watch YouTube videos without privacy-invading ads. The browser blocks hidden trackers automatically. It also ensures you visit secure websites with its Smarter Encryption feature.

There is a Fire Button that automatically clears recent browsing data in one click. The browser also hits your email address with unique @duck.com addresses when you are signing up on any website. It also automatically selects the most private options available in cookie consent pop-ups on different websites.

The browser also includes a secure and easy-to-use password manager and ad blocker. DuckDuckGo browser doesn’t support extensions, but the company plans to add it in the future.

DuckDuckGo browser for Windows is currently available in Public Beta and promises best-in-class privacy protections switched on by default. If you are interested, you can download it from the official website.
