Snapchat’s premium subscription service Snapchat+ already has more than 3 million subscribers. The company confirmed these numbers at the Snap Partner Summit event. Snap also confirmed that Verizon users will also have the option to buy Snapchat+ through Verizon’s subscription store.

Back in February this year, it was confirmed that Snapchat has 350 million daily active users or 750 million monthly active users. Although 3 million subscribers represent less than 1% of the daily active user base of the messaging platform, there are users who are willing to pay $4 per month for VIP benefits.

Snapchat+ subscription was launched in June 2022 and reached the 1 million subscribers mark in August. Then it took Snapchat 6 months to add the next 1 million subscribers when it crossed the 2 million subscribers mark in February this year.

Snapchat has added several features like custom notification sound, story expiration control, customizable chat wallpapers, and more features to make Snapchat+ interesting. The company is also working to bring generative AI features to subscribers. It already added My AI chatbot for Snapchat+ subscribers.
