OnePlus began operation as a smartphone brand and now it also sells TWS, smartwatches, and smart TVs. The company is now set to foray into the monitor segment. OnePlus will launch monitors on December 12,

OnePlus will launch X27 and E24 monitors. As the name suggests X27 will be a 27-inch monitor and the E24 will be a 24-inch monitor.

The company claims that X26 will be in the premium segment offering superior display and performance. This monitor will be ideal for gaming, work projects, or online study. E24 monitor will be a mid-range product with great features for regular tasks or occasional entertainment.

Addressing the announcement, Pete Lau, Founder of OnePlus, shared, “Since our inception, we have grown to become one of the most loved technology brands in India owing to the burdenless user experience and fast and smooth performance of our products. Now, we are excited to bring our new addition to the OnePlus product portfolio, the OnePlus monitors. We are positive that it will deliver the signature OnePlus experience to our community.

The company’s decision to launch a monitor is not a surprise. OnePlus and Oppo and owned by BBK. OnePlus and Oppo also merged their India R&D operations last year. We also see a lot of OnePlus products using technology and design inspiration from Oppo. Realme, a brand owned by Oppo, already launched monitors in India. Now that PC gaming is really popular in the country, the demand for gaming monitors is increasing.
