DJI launched DJI Mavic 3 a year ago. Now the company has launched an affordable version of the camera called DJI Mavic 3 Classic. It is priced at $1,600/€1,600.
DJI Mavic 3 Classic comes with /3rds 20MP sensor and a 24mm lens with f/2.8 to f/11 variable aperture. The camera can shoot videos in 12-bit RAW and videos in 10-bit D-Log. DJI Mavic 3 Classic lacks the telephoto lens that is present in Mavic 3. So, Mavic 3 Classic lacks optical zoom, but the drone offers 3x digital zoom.

The drone camera can record up to 5.1K video at 24-50fps, DCI 4K at up to 120fps, and 1080p at up to 200fps. It also has 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot to expand storage.
The camera has the same 3-axis gimbal for stabilization and the same sensors in all directions to avoid obstacles. It features ActiveTrack 5.0 for tracking subjects such as cars and people.


It promises up to 46 minutes of flight time and up to 30km flight distance. The drone camera can go up to a speed of 75km/h. The camera packs a 5000 mAh battery that takes around 96 minutes in charging it.
DJI Mavic 3 Classic is compatible with existing DJI RC-N1, RC, and RC Pro controllers. If you have one of those controllers, you don’t need to purchase them separately.
