Insta360 has unveiled its latest action camera Insta360 GO 3. It is a compact action camera with the ability to capture high-quality 2.7K video recording.
Insta360 Go 3 camera has an aperture of F2.2 and a focal length of 11.24mm. It captures photos in INSP and DNG formats and videos in MP4 formats. Videos can be recorded in 1080p, 1,440p, and 2.7K resolutions at 24, 25, 30, and 50 FPS. 2.7K doesn’t support 50 FPS recording. The camera can also record 120 FPS slow-motion videos in 1080p resolution.
Insta360 Go 3 features three recording modes: Pre-Recording, Loop Recording, and Timed Capture. In the Time Capture mode, It lets you schedule the camera to power on and start recording at a specific time. This feature can be helpful in shooting sunrise timelapse or something similar.
The FreeFrame mode lets you modify the aspect ratio of your footage after shooting. It will be helpful in making Reel in a 9:16 aspect ratio from a regular wide-angle video.
The camera also has a 6-axis gyroscope along with FlowState Stabilization and 360 Horizon Lock to shoot videos without distortion and tilting. Insta360 GO 3 also has dual microphones to record footage with crisp audio.
The ActionPod connects with the camera over Bluetooth for real-time remote control and live preview. The Action Pod features a 2.2″ flip touchscreen. It packs a 1,270 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port and charges in 65 monies. The ActionPod is IPX4 rated. The Go 2 camera packs a 310 mAh battery that charges in 35 minutes. It is also IPX8 rated. Insta360 claims that the battery has a run time of 45 minutes and can become 170 minutes when paired with the Action Pod.
Insta360 GO 3 is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
The company is offering Insta360 GO 3 only in white color. Options accessories are Monkey Tail Mount, Mini 2-in-1 Tripod, and Screen Protector. The camera also has three storage options: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB, priced at Rs. 36,890, Rs. 38,940, and Rs. 42,630, respectively.
