ICICI Bank and Amazon Pay partners to issue FASTag

ICICI bank has today announced its partnership with Amazon Pay for FASTag. Amazon will issue Amazon Pay ICICI FASTag that can be ordered and recharged directly from Amazon. If you apply for Amazon Pay ICICI FASTag before March 31, 2022. you will also earn a fee waiver of Rs. 100.

FASTag is an RFID sticker for cars to pay toll tax digitally. It is affixed on the windscreen of the vehicle and linked to a prepaid or bank account. If you still wish to pay toll in cash, you will be charged twice at toll plazas. So, get a FASTag for your car if you have not already ordered one.

FASTag from Amazon Pay:

Here are the steps to apply for Amazon Pay ICICI FASTag.

  • Open Amazon Pay and click on ‘Recharge & Buy FASTag‘ option on the dashboard
  • Click on ‘Buy Amazon Pay ICICI FASTag’
  • Enter your personal and vehicle details
  • Verify mobile number through OTP to proceed for payment
  • Order gets placed & delivered hassle-free (with no additional KYC process) once the payment is done

The cost of FASTag is Rs. 500 that includes a sticker cost of Rs. 100, FASTag balance of Rs. 200, and a Refundable security deposit of Rs. 200.

Amazon Prime customers will also get 1% (up to Rs. 1500) of monthly toll spending. This reward will be processed on a monthly basis and will be added to your Amazon Pay balance on the 5th of June.
