Twitter is now giving another reason to users for subscribing to Twitter Blue. The company now allows Twitter Blue subscribers to use NFT as a profile photo of their profile photo. It will also show an icon confirming the account is the official owner of the NFT.

Several NFT owners are already using NFT art in their profile photos, having it verified will be another cool thing.

NFT owners can connect their crypto wallet to their Twitter account. This will give Twitter access to your current and historical crypto wallet transactions and holdings, including all other NFTs in that wallet. This data will let Twitter know if you own the NFT.

The company confirms that it won’t request funds from your crypto wallet or request your private key.

Twitter Blue subscription costs $3 per month and it was introduced last year. The subscription offers several exclusive features such as undo tweets, Bookmark folder, Themes, Top Articles, and themes. Although Twitter Blue is available across the platform, the NFT profile photo is an experimental feature. So, it is only available for iOS users for now. If the company gets a good response, the feature will be rolled out widely.
