Spotify is experimenting with a TikTok-style video feed

Popular music streaming service TikTok is the latest company to join vertical short videos segment. The company is now testing TikTok-style video feed in its beta iOS app. This feed will be available in the Discover section. Users can scroll through and optionally like or skip
This feature was first spotted by Chris Messina, who tweeted out a video of the Discover feature. After Techcrunch reported this, Spotify confirmed testing this feature in a statement provided to the publication.
Not only that, @Spotify Discover is basically a pared down version of a TikTok-style feed of vertical music videos (likely using their canvas format) that you can like or skip.#NewSpotify pic.twitter.com/hpOEZ8v9bl

The test is still in very early stage. So, the feature may see several changes before making public appearance. Not all test features become available to users. If you could remember, Spotify also tested Stories feature for influencers but that could never be available to all users.
TikTok’s short video feed format has been copied by most social media companies including Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, reddit, and even Netflix.
