One of the most demanding action games of recent years is coming to smartphones. Sloclap has announced that Sifu will launch on iPhone and Android on October 12. This brings its fast-paced kung-fu combat to mobile devices.

Sifu is a third-person brawler built around close-range combat. The game is known for its demanding fights, where timing attacks, dodging and parrying can make the difference between surviving and getting knocked down. Its aging mechanic also plays a major role, with the protagonist becoming older each time they are revived after dying.

Sifu’s combat depends heavily on precise inputs, and the game was originally designed around a controller or keyboard and mouse. Sloclap will now have to adapt the experience for touchscreen controls without losing the timing and responsiveness that make its combat work.

The mobile version will give players another way to experience the full game, including its kung-fu-focused action and challenging encounters. Sloclap has not yet shared detailed information about the mobile version’s graphics settings, controls or performance requirements.

Sifu originally launched on PC and PlayStation before expanding to Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store.
