Airtel customers to get free unlimited access to ZEE5 content until July 12

Telecom operator Bharati Airtel has announced its strategic collaboration with streaming service ZEE5 to bring ZEE5’s premium catalogue for Airtel customers.

Airtel customers will get free access to entire catalogue of ZEE5 premium content from May 4, 2020 to July 12, 2020. They won’t have to pay any subscription charges.

Airtel Postpaid and broadband customers will get access to access to Zee5 with their existing plan. Prepaid customers can avail Zee5 subscription upon recharging with Rs. 149 and above plans. Use Airtel Thanks app to avail the offer.

Once you have claimed the offer in the Airtel Thanks app, install the ZEE5 app to access the content. After the offer ends on July 12, the Zee5 service will ask customers to opt for a subscription.

“Airtel Thanks is now one of the largest Rewards programmes in India and offers a truly differentiated experience to our loyal customers. We are delighted to work with Zee to bring high quality premium video content to our customers as part of the expanding Thanks Rewards,” said Shashwat Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel, in the statement.

ZEE5 has a catalog of over 4,500 movies and TV shows in multiple genres and 12 languages.

The will help ZEE5 to reach more people and many of them could be the paying customers after the offer ends. Airtel customers will get more content to access when they are locked at home.

Airtel is actively trying hard to offer customers benefits to help them when they are locked at home. Recently it announced an initiative to help impacted works with Vahan, offered free books from Juggernaut, and brought CuriosityStream content to DTH customers.
