As Xiaomi already mentioned while launching Redmi 6 series and new LED TV range, the company has increased the prices of these products after the constant fall of Indian Rupee against the US Dollar.

The company has hiked the prices of Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, MI LED TV 4C Pro 32, MI LED TV 41 Pro 49 and MI Power bank 2i.

Redmi 6A (2GB + 16GB) now costs Rs. 6599 after the hike of Rs. 600 in its price while the (2GB + 32GB) variant saw Rs. 500 hike and now costs Rs. 7499. Redmi 6 (3GB + 32GB) will have slight increase of Rs. 5000 and it will now cost Rs. 8499.

MI LED TV 4C pro 32 and MI LED TV 4A 49 saw the price increase of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 2000 respectively. The new prices at Rs. 15999 and Rs. 31999.

The 10000 mAH Mi Power bank 2i Black now costs Rs. 899 after the hike of Rs. 100 at its price.

All the new prices are effective at midnight from today, November 11, 2018.

It is worth to note that Realme also increased the prices of Realme 2 and Realme C1 for the same reason. Both the brands offer products at a very aggressive pricing. So, falling Indian Rupees impacted their import cost and profit margin. If Indian Rupee keeps on falling at the same pace, other brands will also be forced to increase the prices of few products. We can also see the effect falling Rupee in the prices of newly launched Apple products that now cost much more than previous models.
