Vivo is bringing a new S-series smartphone to India. The company has confirmed that the vivo S2 FE will launch in the country on October 6 at 12 PM.
The vivo S2 FE is positioned as a smartphone for younger users, with the company focusing on design, battery life and content creation. vivo is also teasing a slim profile and an immersive display, although it has not revealed the full specifications yet.
Vivo says the S2 FE will feature its largest battery capacity to date. The company has not revealed the exact capacity, but the focus on battery life could make it an interesting upgrade for users who spend a lot of time on social media, streaming and content creation.
The phone will also feature a slim design and a dual-camera setup on the rear. The vivo S2 FE will run OriginOS and will be sold through Flipkart, vivo India’s online store and offline retail stores. This gives the phone a wider retail presence from the start.
vivo has not yet revealed the processor, camera specifications, display details, RAM and storage options or charging capabilities. The company is expected to reveal these details during the launch event.
