As already confirmed by Realme CEO Madhav Seth, Realme has finally confirmed the price rise for two 0f its smartphones. Now the Realme 2 and Realme C1 are being sold for higher prices on Flipkart.

The 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage model of Realme 2 is now available for Rs. 8499 on Flipkart while the phone was launched for Rs. 8990. There is no change in the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version of the Realme 2 and it is still available for Rs. 10,990 on Flipkart.

Price of Realme C1 has been increased by Rs. 1000 and the phone is now available for Rs. 7999. The phone was launched in India at Rs. 6999.

Price of Realme 2 Pro is same but we expect it to be more expensive after Diwali. Realme 2 Pro is one of the best selling phones of its segment and the company sold over a million units during the Big Billion days held in the second week of November. So, people who are thinking to buy this phone should buy it before Diwali.

Realme began as an online-only brand under Oppo and is now operates as a separate entity. Now the company has also partnered with Reliance to sell the phones offline from Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress mini stores. All of their smartphones have been priced aggressively to compete against Xiaomi that is ruling the entry-level and lower mid-range segment. Realme also got success in getting considerable consumers.

After the fall of Indian currency against the Dollar, it has become really tough for several smartphone brands who are selling products on a aggressive pricing. Xiaomi increased the prices of its Redmi Note 5 Pro and  Mi LED TV 4 back in April this year. Xiomi also confirms that it might increase the price of Redmi 6 series of smartphones in Indian Rupees continues to fall.
