vivo has expanded its S Series lineup in India with the launch of the vivo S2 FE. The new smartphone focuses on battery life, display quality, durability, and design. Its biggest highlight is a 10,000mAh battery, which vivo claims helped the phone set a Guinness World Record for the longest electronic product testing livestream.

The vivo S2 FE was able to run continuously for 32 hours and 37 minutes during the livestream, earning the Guinness World Record for the “Longest Electronic Product Testing Livestream.”

The vivo S2 FE features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness. The display is designed for high-quality media consumption while also offering better visibility outdoors.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, paired with a Mali-G610 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The vivo S2 FE runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6.

The phone has a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX852 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. It is paired with a 2MP secondary camera and an Aura light. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The phone also comes with stereo speakers and supports USB Type-C audio. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor.

vivo has focused on durability as well. The S2 FE has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.

The smartphone measures 163.9 x 76.5 x 8.59mm in the Titan Black and Stellar Green variants, while the Zen White variant is 8.69mm thick. It weighs 224 grams in Titan Black and Stellar Green, and 225 grams in Zen White.

Vivo S2 FE packs a 10,000mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging.

The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model costs Rs. 38,999, while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 42,999.

The vivo S2 FE will go on sale in India from October 20 through the vivo India website, partner retail stores, Amazon India, and Flipkart.

vivo is offering several launch benefits with the smartphone. Offline buyers can get up to 10% instant cashback, up to a 10% exchange bonus, or zero down payment options for up to 15 months. Online buyers can choose between a 10% instant bank discount, a 10% exchange bonus, or up to 12 months of no-cost EMI.

Customers also get a complimentary one-year extended warranty. Retail buyers can get up to 40% off on V-Shield protection plans covering screen damage.

The launch offers also include 100GB of Google One cloud storage for six months. Customers can also get premium access to 10 OTT apps for six months with eligible Jio prepaid recharges.

vivo is also offering a 50% discount on annual JioHotstar plans, bringing the Mobile Plan to Rs. 249.50 and the Super Plan to Rs. 549.50.
