Today at 5th Global Conference on Cyberspace, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a new app UMANG (Unified Mobile Application For New-age Governance). This app brings most of the government services at one places and allows people to access everything from a single app.

This app has been developed by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD) for bringing mobile governance in India.

UMANG has integration of customer-centric services including Aadhaar, PayGov, PAN, Revenue department, DigiLocker, EPOF and more. For now, there is the integration of 162 services, 33 departments and 4 states services. The aim is to bring 200 departments and 1200+ services by the end of 2019.

If you link the app to your Aadhar card, you can pay taxes, apply for a new passport, book gas and crop insurance and more.

It can also show CBSE exam centers and results. It also enables students, teachers, parents, and schools to check class-wise and subject-wise content provided by NCERT. You can also search for AICTE approved institutes and courses.

You can access UMANG on multiple platforms including smartphones, tablets, and desktops. The app is available for Android, iOS, and Windows. You can also give a missed call on 97183-97183 to get the app download link. The app supports 12 regional languages along with English.

The government has also set up a dedicated customer support. If you have any query, you can call from 8 AM to 8 PM.
