WhatsApp has quietly started rolling out a new visual design for iPhone. The new design is inspired by the new Liquid Glass of iOS. While Meta has not made any official announcement, several users on social media have reported seeing the updated interface after installing the latest iOS version of WhatsApp.

According to WABetaInfo, the new design is now reaching users with WhatsApp for iOS version 25.28.75, and the rollout will continue in the coming weeks.

The Liquid Glass design brings a fresh and modern look to WhatsApp. It closely matches Apple’s new iOS 26 design language. The update introduces dynamic transparency, depth effects, and fluid animations. Users get a semi-transparent bottom navigation bar, which features a subtle blue tint behind the content. It gives the UI a sense of depth and layering. Each icon also has smooth animation effects when tapped.

WhatsApp has also redesigned its context menus, buttons, and even the keyboard to match the new style. The app now uses the native iOS keyboard, which features a translucent and reflective design.

Buttons inside WhatsApp have also been updated. They now share the same modern glass-like aesthetic as the navigation bar and include smooth tap animations for a more natural feel.
