After several leaks and teasers, finally, we know when this phone will become official. Xiaomi has just confirmed the launch date of MI MIX 2. Xiaomi will announce this phone at an event in China on September 11.
Xiaomi calls this 2.0 bezel-less display. So, we can expect more narrow bezels this time. We have already seen the design in a video posted by French designer Philippe Starck.
The concept video shows ultra narrow bezels around the display. It is rumored to come with 93% screen to body ratio. It was 91.3% in the first generation Mi MIX.
This phone was also listed on GeekBench showing Snapdragon 835 and 6GB RAM on board. Gearbest also listed the phone with Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM, 6.4-inch display and 19 MP rear camera. Few reports also talked about In-Display fingerprint sensor on Mi Mi 2 But we have doubts on these reports.
Now we know when the phone will become official. So, wait for few more days and we will have another beautiful phone from Xiaomi.
