Philippe Starck shows mind-blowing concept design of Xiaomi Mi MIX 2
Last year, Xiaomi launched Mi Mix smartphone with very narrow bezels. For designing that phone, the company collaborated with the French-based designer, Philippe Starck. The phone came with the beautiful all-ceramic body.
For the success of that phone, Xiaomi collaborated Philippe Starck again. He has been working on the design for past few months and today he posted a concept video of upcoming Mi Mix 2. The video shows a phone with a three-sided bezel-less display. We can just see a thin bezel at the bottom.
While the predecessor had a flat screen, the Mi Mix 2 looks to have slight curves on both the sides. It looks a lot like Galaxy S8, with reduced bezels.
We can see the USB Type-C and speaker grill on the bottom edge.
It was also listed on benchmarking website, GeekBench revealing the key specifications. The rumored specs of the phone are Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, Adreno 540 GPU, 6GB RAM, 6.4-inch Quad HD Display, 19 MP rear camera, 13 MP front camera and 4500 mAh battery.
