Today, Instagram has introduced two new interesting features. The company is rolling out Live video and messages.
Live video option was leaked a few days back. It is similar to Facebook Live and allows users to stream a live video. When someone you follow goes live, you will see “Live” under this profile photo. During the live broadcast, you can comment and like on the video. You can also explore the love stories by tapping on “Top Live” to see exciting live stores.
While you are broadcasting live videos, you can also pin comments or turn off the comments.
Instagram also added disappearing photos and videos for Instagram direct. It will be available for groups and friends messages. You can only send disappearing photos and videos to people who follow you. When you tap on new message icon, you will be able to privately send a photo or video on Instagram.
Disappearing photos and videos in Instagram Direct will start rolling out globally today. Check your Instagram app to see this.
