Myntra buys mobile app development startup Native5

Native 5 MyntraOnline fashion retailer Myntra.com has acquired Bengaluru-based startup Native5 Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd for an undisclosed sum. As a part of the deal founders of Native 5 will join Flipkart, parent company of Myntra.

Native5 was founded by  Manish Priyadarshi, Barada Sahu and Shamik Datta back in 2011. Company developed a cloud platform to create and distribute mobile apps for different kind of devices.

Native5 has already shutdown its website. It will now close its operation. Native5 team will now work on Myntra’s mobile only strategy which has been postponed for undisclosed time. Earlier, it was reported that Myntra will shutdown its website and will become mobile only from May 1. Native5 will surely help company to achive its mobile-only target and will help its mobile apps to grow.

Native5 was incubated at Microsoft Accelerator in 2013. In the same year, it was also the part of Nasscom 10,000 Startup.
