Amazon.in introduces ‘Amazon Launchpad’ to support Indian startups

Amazon.in introduces ‘Amazon Launchpad’ to support Indian startups

Today, Amazon.in announced its global program ‘Amazon Launched’ for Indian startups. This program helps the startup to launch, market, and distribute their products to millions of Amazon customers across the India and around the globe.

Globally, this platform works with more than 100 venture capital firm, crowd-funding services, and accelerators. For India, Amazon Launchpad has already partnered with various investment firms and Government agencies to offer better mentorship and help. Some notable partners include NASSCOM 10,000 Startups, Indian Angel Network, NITI Aayog, Government of Maharashtra, Government of Telangana and TiE.

Startup who joins the program will get:

  • Launch Faster
  • Get Discovered
  • Build brand
  • Go global

Amazon Launchpad also has few eligibility requirements:

  1. Startup must have already received any kind of funding but there may be exceptions on this point
  2. The product should be physical and not a software or app.
  3. The Product must be ready to ship and should not be in the conceptual stage.

Startups interested in joining the Amazon Launchpad can visit the Amazon.in/launchpad to join as the startup. You can also see what products are already available under this program.

The Amazon Launchpad store on Amazon.in features over 400 innovative products ranging from health monitoring, internet of things, smart homes, foods and more. It already boasts to have over 25 startups joined the program.

Featured Indian startups include Witworks, Lead Wearables, Ducere Technologies, Seventh sense technologies.
