You can now download your Google search history

Add Techlomedia as a preferred source on Google. Preferred Source

We all know that Google keeps the record of our search history if we use it after logging into our Google account. We can also access the search history and delete it any time. Now, Google added an option to download your Google search history. This feature was initially rolled our for few users as a test back in October 2014.

This option was first spotted by the unofficial Google Operating System blo.

To download your search history, Visit your Web & App Activity page. Here, find the gear icon at the top right corner of the page and select Download. In this, click on Create Archive. Once the archive us ready, you’ll get an email confirmation with a link to the data. It automatically saves your archive in Google Drive and gives link of that Archive

Download ZIP file contains many JSON files, organized by quarter. Google also suggests not to download your Google search history in public computers.

It is worth to mention that Google only keeps tracks of your search if you are logged in into your Google account while searching on Google and history is enabled for your account. So, you will only get history from when you enabled this feature and searched after logging into your account.
