According to the WSJ reports, next generation of Google Glass will be powered by Intel chips. Not only the chips, Intel also has plans to promote next generation of Google Glass to companies where it can be very useful.

Current model of Google Glass is powered by processor made by Texas Instruments.

Google launched Google Glass back in 2012 but it was criticized by many people due to privacy issues. But Google Glass has shown how it can be a beneficial device in various industries. Various developers also launched apps to make this smart device even more useful. Google is also working with various companies to encourage the use of Google Glass in health care, construction and manufacturing industries.

Intel has already been working on wearable devices. So far, it has unveiled: the MICA bracelet, and the Basis fitness and sleep tracker. This partnership will open doors for more opportunists for Intel and Google both.
