maps-embedGoogle has confirmed that you can now embed Google’s street view and Photo Sphere on your websites. Street View and Photo Sphere are very nice tools to have the real glimpse of a place on the maps.

Google has updated its Embed API to make sharing on Street view and Photo Sphere easier by embedding into web pages. Google already began allowing you to embed Maps snippets but this functionality didn’t extend to the panoramas.

“Today, we added the ability to easily embed the Street View and Photo Sphere images you find in Google Maps and we’re also enabling the same capabilities programmatically in the Google Maps Embed API. These embeds use the new imagery viewer technology that powers Street View in the new Google Maps,” Google confirmed in the blog post.

To embed a street view, click on Gear icon at the bottom right side of the page and select “Share and Embed image”. Then find the embed code to place on the website. See the street view of Taj Mahal below:

Similar process is for sharing Panoramas or Photo Spheres.

It is really an impressive move bu Google. Now users will not have to open panoramas or street view in separate browser window. They can easily see on the website embedded it.
