Twitter is rolling out new design for web. This new design brings better alignment on mobile devices and eliminated the pop-up compose window. New design matches the design of Twitter mobile apps. Some users have already updated to the new design. If you are not one of those, you will get the new design soon. Company has also tweeted about this new design.

 

Twitter Rolls Out New Web Design

Now it has inline compose box that is accessible via the new tweet button at the top right corner of the page. You can also access it via same keyboard shortcut. With this new design, users will be able to personalize their profile. Users can add accent colors. Navigation bar is completely revamped to match mobile apps. Some icons have also received update.

This new update has only changed the design of Twitter.com. No new feature has been added. Company has only upgraded 1% users to the new design. It seems Twitter want to get feedback of new design before upgrading all users to the new Twitter.

This new Twitter design makes more sense and feels like you are on mobile device. In past few months, company has updated lots of things in mobile apps but wen version was lagging behind.
