Facebook Acquired Indian Startup Little Eye Labs

Finally It is confirmed that Facebook has made its first ever acquisition in India. Bangalore based mobile app analytic developer firm Little Eye Labs has been acquired by Facebook.

“Today, we’re very excited to announce that Facebook is acquiring our company. With this acquisition, Little Eye Labs will join forces with Facebook to take its mobile development to the next level! This is Facebook’s first acquisition of an Indian company, and we are happy to become part of such an incredible team,” Little Eye Labs posted on website.

Little Eye Lab was founded last year and develops tool for analyzing the performance of Android apps. There is no confirmation but sources confirmed that deal is in range of $1 million to $15 million. Little Eye Labs Team will join Facebook in Menlo Park, California to use its technology for improving Facebook’s mobile apps.

Little Eye Labs is also planning to offer a free version of app until June 3, 2014.

Sometime ago, there were rumors that Facebook is planning to acquire India based startup. After this deal, more Indian startup will think to get this kind of deal. This deal confirms that Silicon Valley is interested in Indian talent.
