Yahoo’s Flickr has announced a new web embed feature that lets Flickr users embed full-bleed photos on websites with a backlink to their Flickr account. To use this new embed feature, you need to enable the beta version of Flickr’s new photo experience.

To embed a photo, just click on share button and then < /> icon and choose the embed size. Then copy the code and add it your website where you want to embed photos.

You can also embed set of photos and people will be able to browse through the whole collection. Flick also offers a magnificent full-screen viewing experience of phots on your website. You only need to click on fullscreen icon the the bottom tollbar near embe photo. Flickr also claims that they never compress of resize photos while embedding on websites.

It is worth to mention that you can only embed phtos that are shared publicly. Private photos will only be available to selected group of people with whom you shared photo.

Whole experience is great with high quality image slide show on a website. Flickr also adds a small logo at the bottom right corner of the photo.

This feature was long overdue because other rivals already have this feature. Few third party tools (including FlickrSlidr) were already offering this feature for feature for more than 6 years.
